I am pleased to introduce the Centre for Innovation & Incubation Council (CIIC) at NIT Jamshedpur as a dedicated platform aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and incubation among students, professionals, faculty and alumni. Established as a non-profit entity, it operates at present under the NIDHI (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations) scheme of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
At present CIIC through Inclusive Technology Business Incubation Centre (iTBI) offering assistance for startups in transforming ideas into commercialisable products, businesses grants of upto ₹10 lakh for eligible startups, guidance from experienced professionals and industry experts, utilisation of high-end technology-driven machines, such as electron microscopes, 3D scanners etc. to support product development. We have already collaborated with several numero-uno industrial brands for supporting startups and contributing towards growth of startup eco system of country.
We, invite all serious entrepreneurs to join as incubatee at CIIC, NIT Jamshedpur and contribute to startup ecosystem of NIT and India.
